What a great surprise! The croissants are technically flawless—crisp layers, airy crumb—truly, it feels like Paris. For my taste, they could be just a touch more buttery, but that’s nitpicking.

They have plain croissants and several options of stuffed croissants (Pistachio, Nutella, Bueno) that are all delicious.
In addition to these and fresh baked focaccia and cheese pie, they also have contemporary takes on traditional Greek specialties like Spinach Pie and Bougatsa as well as an amazing twist on a French Croque Madame…bacon, cheese, béchamel surrounded with a crisp croissant crust and topped with a perfectly cooked egg with a beautifully runny yolk. Such a lovely place! The Croissaints and all of their goodies taste so good! Every morning they have a big selections. Coffee is also amazing. But the best from the place are the owners. Super kind couple who makes your day nicer!

We luckily tried a plain croissant and a Nutella stuffed one and they were both excellent so we went back the next day. Had the pizza, bougatsa, and cinnamon roll, plus coffee. Everything was exceptional. Especially the bougatsa, it was a hybrid of traditional bougatsa and croissant, which was very interesting. We are very sad we don't have any more days in Hydra to go back again! Staff were also lovely and very accommodating. The shop has a few self-service tables by the port, great view also.- Service

Such a lovely and cozy microbakery with a welcoming atmosphere! Their bakes are always fresh, creative, flaky and absolutely delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly, making the whole experience even better. A perfect spot at Hydra for a treat that is just like music in your mouth!

As a big fan of pistachio croissants, I had to try this place and I must this one of the best pistachio croissants I’ve ever had. In Italy, where the concept of pistachio croissants was popularized, the quality of the croissant is often an afterthought. The quality of the craftsmanship here is excellent. Your bite of the first edge of the croissant reveals the pastry chef’s skills before getting to the cream filled interior. Crispy on the outside with a soft fluffy and finely layered interior. The pistachio cream they use throughout the body of the croissant is softer and more delicate than most bakers making pistachio croissants. It gives a velvety mouthfeel but grab extra napkins because that mouthfeel means the cream runs a bit. I haven’t tried the rest of their options but this level of attention to detail and quality means everything is almost certainly delicious.- Service

The best coffee on Hydra Island! The location has an easy access from Hydra town, the crew working there are extremely pleasant and the quality of coffee and pastries is top! The coffee shop is open very early in the morning, an excellent oportunity to start ypur day in style!

One of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to, with excellent and delicious croissants. It’s tucked away on a small street in Hydra, but they also have tables set up along the coastal road. The place is run by a couple of friendly, knowledgeable people with relevant experience and studies in the field. Kids friendly also!

A true hidden gem in Hydra! Croissant Microbakery offers the flakiest, most buttery croissants I’ve ever tasted. Every bite is fresh, rich, and full of care. The space is cozy and minimal, with a lovely atmosphere and super friendly owners. Katerina and Spiros are the best. Perfect stop for your morning coffee and a warm, handmade pastry. Don’t miss it!

Wow!! Don't skip out on these insane croissants and pies!! The pistachio croissant was warm, crispy, and freshly filled. The spinach pie was the best I've had in Greece! Super recommended!! Alternative milks like oat milk available.

Not a long time ago we visited Hydra of Greece. One day as we were exploring the island we spotted this microbakery, we went in and asked the staff to suggest to us what we should choose and this place became our breakfast spot for the rest of the vacation! Highly recommended!

For reference, I’ve been living in France for over a year - and this bakery matches if not supersedes some of the best pastry I’ve had in my entire life. If you don’t get the pistachio croissant you’re doing something wrong
